Lotus sheets withdrew his now new elite high-end hybrid and promised that the car would be in this year's Paris Motor Show. The new Lotus is for the Porsche / Aston Martin / Maserati demographic with a 5.0-liter V8 pumping 620 hp and 720 Nm of torque. The hybrid powertrain will be optional (probably popular tax breaks due to its potential) and will consist of two electric motors and a planetary gear (do not know what it was or click here for explanation Wikipedia).

The yield is considerable - 0-60 takes just 3.5 seconds and top speed is limited to 315 km / h. The price of elite hybrids will be about 100,000 pounds ($ 150,000 + USD) and is likely to Ferrari, Aston Martin, Maserati and Lamborghini will be a little nervous about this upstart new and potential rival.
